About the job
The Shipping Supervisor leads daily shipping operations by overseeing team performance,
coordinating logistics, and actively supporting hands-on shipping, packaging, and delivery
activities to ensure on-time, accurate customer shipments.
We're looking for someone who
- Has 5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Has at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor
- environment
- Demonstrates strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Has experience with shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip
- Is proficient using computer systems and inventory tracking software
- Has experience operating an electric forklift and holds a valid forklift certification
- Is able to read, follow, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Possesses strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Is comfortable working cross-functionally with production teams, drivers, and customers
- Has a clean driving record and is willing to serve as a backup delivery driver when needed
- Is detail-oriented and committed to quality, safety, and on-time delivery
- Has experience handling high-value or fragile components (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish
What you'll do
- Lead, train, mentor, and support the shipping and delivery team
- Schedule daily workloads and monitor team performance to ensure on-time shipments
- Coordinate daily delivery routes and shipping priorities
- Serve as a hands-on leader by assisting with shipping, packaging, receiving, and deliveries

- Process domestic and international shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other shipping
- systems
- Receive customer parts, verify documentation, and stage materials for production
- Manage customer pickups and provide excellent service at the will-call counter
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
- Review shipping documentation, bills of lading, and work orders for accuracy
- Maintain packaging standards to protect high-value products during shipment
- Monitor shipping supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Update and maintain standard operating procedures to support continuous improvement
- Promote a safe, organized work environment and enforce PPE and safety requirements
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
- Must be able to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment
