Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License with no more than 5 points required. No probationary license will be accepted.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Fluent English reading, writing, speaking, computer skills necessary to record observations and monitor development.
- Willingness to assist people in achieving their greatest level of independent functioning in the areas of personal grooming and hygiene, budgeting, communication, and socialization.
- NJS Drug testing is required.
- Tuberculosis testing is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Observe and document patient behavior and health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
