Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried dishes with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and other appliances safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with food preparation tasks including cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients for menu items
- Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food production
- Manage high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Follow proper food handling techniques and ensure compliance with all health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially with fry cooking or similar culinary roles
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting with high-volume production demands
- Familiarity with dietary aide practices, menu planning, and catering experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on serving customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
