About the Role
GGN Solutions Inc. is seeking experienced Warehouse Support Specialists to support the Georgia Army National Guard's G4 Warehouse operation at Fort Stewart, GA. This position directly supports the Army Equipment Recovery Distribution Site (ERDS), assisting with the receipt, storage, tracking, and redistribution.This is hands-on logistics and property accountability work at the center of the Army's modernization and equipment transformation effort.
What You'll Do
- Receive and process unit equipment turn-ins and shipments to and from customer units
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanized equipment to move items safely and efficiently within the ERDS facility
- Record item locations, maintain accurate inventory logs, and prepare reports tracking equipment disposition
- Perform inventory and property transactions in GCSS-Army and SEAM/ISM with a required accuracy standard of 99.9%
- Arrange and organize stock to optimize warehouse space, prevent damage, and maintain orderly work areas
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with ERDS staff to ensure equipment is routed to the correct redistribution or disposal point
- Support fast-paced, large-scale storage clearance and reconfiguration efforts under tight timelines
- Maintain proper handling procedures for cleaning materials and other regulated items encountered in the warehouse
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or property accountability supporting.
- GCSS-Army system experience is mandatory
- Working knowledge of Government regulations and manuals related to inventory management and property accountability
- Valid forklift operator license, or ability to obtain one — electric forklift operating experience strongly preferred (Government-provided training available if needed)
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain installation access (Common Access Card required); note that interim/temporary access is not permitted, so timely completion of the background investigation process is essential
- Ability to meet all Army Training Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and Information Assurance training requirements
- Reliable, dependable attendance — this is a two-person team with no built-in relief staffing
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting an Equipment Recovery Distribution Site (ERDS) or similar large-scale equipment divestiture/redistribution operation
- Familiarity with Army Transformation Initiative (ATI) processes or unit inactivation/equipment conversion support
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with regular use of forklifts and other material-handling equipment (Government-furnished)
- Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment and materials throughout the workday
- No hazardous materials handling beyond standard cleaning supplies; PPE provided
