Lawn chemical applicator - This person must have experience in applying fertilizer and weed killer to turf applications. However, job will not be limited to just completing lawn applications. It will also include helping the landscaping and lawn mowing crews when needed. This is a full time position we DO NOT LAY OFF in the winter.
Requirements
1. Excellent driving record, experience pulling a trailer is a plus
2. Proficient equipment operation and mechanical knowledge
3. Minimum 1 year of lawn chemical application experience (pesticide license encouraged)
4. Must be self motivated and be able to work by yourself.
5. Responsible for enforcing safety of the customer, job site, and company employees on site.
6. Maintain physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned job tasks
7. Excellent communication skills to communicate with fellow employees and customers.
8. Must be able to work night shifts to help with snow removal in the winter.
9. Work four 10's - Schedule is Monday - Thursday 7 AM-5:30 PM. Fridays and overtime pay is optional.
Responsibilities
1. Take responsibility for customer lawns - making sure they are fertilized correctly and weeds are being controlled.
2. Communicate with salesman to understand job specifications and ensure they are met to maintain customer's complete satisfaction.
3. Ensure quality standards are met and fix any problems that may arise due to quality.
4. Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, and at the shop.
5. Develop and recommend improved work methods and standards.
6. Ensure value is being added to customer properties in the most efficient methods possible.
7. Help establish production benchmarks and goals.
8. Provide snow removal services
