URGENT: Experienced Caregiver Needed – Seneca/Westminster, SC
Monday–Friday 20 Hours Weekly 4+ Years Experience Required
From The Heart Home Care is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and attentive caregiver for an immediate client assignment in the Seneca/Westminster area.
This client requires a caregiver who is comfortable providing consistent standby assistance and fall-prevention support while encouraging independence. Because of the client's mobility and care needs, applicants must have at least 4 years of professional caregiving experience.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
20 Hours Per Week
Client Care Needs
The caregiver will provide support with:
- Standby assistance for fall prevention and safety
- Walking and mobility assistance
- Assistance with cane and walker use
- Bedside commode assistance as needed
- Shower chair and bathing assistance as needed
- Personal care and activities of daily living
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Medication reminders as directed
- Companionship and supervision
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and other necessary outings
- Maintaining a safe and organized home environment
The client has a history of stroke, fall risk, and hearing loss, so the caregiver must be observant, patient, and confident providing appropriate mobility and safety support.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 4 years of professional caregiving experience REQUIRED
- Experience providing care following a stroke strongly preferred
- Strong fall-prevention and mobility-assistance experience
- Comfortable providing standby assistance throughout the shift
- Experience assisting clients who use canes, walkers, bedside commodes, and shower chairs
- Physically able to safely assist with the client's mobility needs
- Dependable, compassionate, patient, and attentive
- Must be comfortable working in a home with pets
- Must be willing and able to transport the client
- Must have your own reliable personal vehicle
- Uber, Lyft, taxis, and ride-share services do not qualify
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
- Strong communication skills
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Ability to pass a background check
