American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Coronary position requiring a Compact RN license and 1+ years of specialty experience.

Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
-
Shift schedule is 3x12hr Nights (1900-0730)
-
36 hours per week across 3 days
-
Weekend shifts required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need

Uses Epic EMR for charting
-
Active RN License (Single State or Compact) required in Colorado
-
Current BLS (AHA) certification required
-
Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
-
Current NIHSS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in the ICU/Coronary specialty required
-
ASN required, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
-
BSN preferred
-
Epic charting experience preferred
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
-
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU/Coronary patients
-
Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
-
Provide health teaching and counseling to patients
-
Deliver therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to life and well-being
-
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
-
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
-
Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Returning permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
