American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a compact or Oklahoma RN license and prior IR experience.

Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
-
Care for Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR patients, with preference for experience in at least two of these areas
-
12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC)
-
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire
-
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 6 months of hire

Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience required

NIHSS certification required

Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and treatment responses

Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
-
Monitor physiological data and intervene as needed
-
Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
-
Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and at discharge
-
Oversee care provided by technicians and other support staff, delegating tasks as appropriate

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates may extend their assignment once for a total of up to 26 weeks; a 6-month separation is required before reapplying afterward

Compliance documentation must be completed promptly, as start dates cannot be pushed once booked
