Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of insurance sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets across various insurance products including health, life, property, casualty, and commercial insurance.
- Develop strategic sales plans utilizing outside sales techniques, telemarketing strategies, and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Provide comprehensive training on insurance regulations, HIPAA compliance, benefits administration, and CRM system utilization to ensure team success.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, client consultation, and personalized service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee client communication processes ensuring clarity on policy details, coverage options, and claims procedures.
- Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, CRM updates, and compliance with insurance regulation standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales within the insurance industry or related fields such as retail sales or telemarketing.
- Demonstrated success as a top producer with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual environments preferred.
- Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), CRM systems proficiency, and analysis skills for market research and reporting.
- Experience in customer service roles emphasizing client communication and relationship building.
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards including HIPAA compliance for health-related policies.
