We are seeking an awesome Optometric staff member to join our team! We are an independent and busy multi-doctor optometry practice in Edmond, OK. We offer state of the art technology for our patient care, and a personalized experience for everyone who calls or enters our practice. We value our team members and patient care is our utmost priority. Our ideal candidate will have experience working as a staff member in an optometry environment. If you have great customer service, good communication skills, dependable, friendly attitude and a passion to learn, we want to meet you!
Ideal office hours (Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm) NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!
Responsibilities:
- Frame styling/repairs and ordering patient glasses
- Patient education on lens options
- Answering phone calls and greeting all patients in a warm and friendly manner
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Filing vision insurance
- Ordering contact lenses
- Repairing patient frames
Qualifications:
- One year of Optical Experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Eyefinity EHR / Officemate Software is ideal
- Detail oriented
- Computer/internet savvy
