THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION:
SCHEDULE: 1:30PM-10PM (MONDAY - FRIDAY)
SOME WEEKENDS AS REQUIRED
Duties
- Load and stage raw materials semi-automated machines
- Complete all production and quality paperwork as required
- Effectively communicate issues to lead or supervisor
- Keep the general work area clean
- Complete all required safety and quality training (i.e. LOTO, GMPs)
- Count inventory to maintain accurate consumption
- Removing products from boxes and breaking down boxes
- Heavy, repetitive pushing and lifting
- Palletizing, wrapping pallets
- Moves at fast pace
- HOT environment (not temp controlled)
- Inspect and verify products to ensure that the product is not damaged or defective
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of GMP standards
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to do basic math calculations
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Strong verbal communication
- May require up to 6 months of on-the-job and classroom training.
- Forklift certification may be required
Working Conditions
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the associate must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. The associate is often required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to elevate to heights of 30 feet or higher and lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to push up to 2000 lbs. Must have the ability to stand for the duration of shift. Must also always remain aware of the surrounding environment and conditions.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The associate is also exposed to varying weather elements, frequently exposed to hot and humid temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy. Some floors may be wet and slippery, so proper footwear is required.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
