American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.

Medical Surgical Oncology unit in an acute care hospital setting

36-bed unit
-
Night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, various days of the week
-
Weekend availability required per unit needs
-
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on day shift and 1:5 on night shift; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
-
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
-
No on-call requirements

Charting performed in Epic
-
Active CO or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required

Current BLS certification required
-
Oncology certification preferred but not required
-
Completion of an oncology skills checklist required for consideration
-
Prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios required
-
Comfort with variable nurse-to-patient ratios required

Navy scrubs required

Maximum of 10 RTO days approved for the contract; RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28 – July 9, September 2 – September 12, and October 25 – November 4
