Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead our third-year (5–6 years old) classroom for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity to guide children through their final year of the Montessori Children’s House experience, supporting academic growth, leadership, and school readiness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a thoughtfully designed Montessori environment
- Guide children through individualized and small-group lessons across subject areas
- Support social-emotional development and independence
- Observe, assess, and document student progress
- Foster a respectful, calm, and engaging classroom community
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student development
- Collaborate with faculty and administration
Qualifications
- Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 1-3 years of teaching experience
- Experience working with children ages 5–6
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative, positive, and professional demeanor

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
