Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer transactions at the cash register, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling change with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to meet health standards
- Assist with food handling duties such as bunning, frying, assembling sandwiches, and serving beverages while adhering to food safety protocols
- Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or service
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards to ensure safe food handling at all times
- Retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial in understanding sales transactions and inventory management
