Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong understanding of painting techniques and surface preparation.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Use hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), brushes, and rollers to apply coatings accurately and efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and color schemes to execute precise color matching and design specifications
- Perform construction site surface preparation for both interior and exterior projects, including masonry, stucco, drywall, and structural surfaces
- Apply various types of paint including residential, commercial, industrial, and restoration coatings using conventional or spray methods
- Follow safety regulations by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work
- Complete touch-ups and detailed finishing work to ensure a smooth, even coating with consistent color matching
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting with knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applications
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Ability to use ladders safely and work at heights comfortably on scaffolding or elevated platforms
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and other relevant equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection standards
- Experience with residential painting projects as well as commercial or industrial applications involving structural painting or restoration work
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities accurately
- Hands-on experience with caulking, stucco application, masonry finishing, framing carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to match colors visually and ensure high-quality finishes on diverse surfaces

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
