BORING BAR MACHINIST OPPORTUNITIES
Strong business in our customers’ industries provides immediate career opportunities on second shift for an experienced lead CNC boring bar operator. Two to three years' machining experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. KAUFMAN machines parts for our own metal-cutting machine tools, which machine parts for the electrical and plumbing fittings and automotive and appliance industries. Summary
As a lead CNC Boring Bar Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components according to technical specifications. You will also be leading and advising two or three other employees doing similar work on the second shift. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role will require strong skills in blueprint reading, machining, and the use of precision measuring instruments. You will leverage your knowledge of CNC programming and GD&T to ensure high-quality output. Additionally, familiarity with tools such as calipers and micrometers, along with relevant experience in lean manufacturing and tooling, will be essential for success in this dynamic manufacturing environment. Finally, the ability to work with and supervise a team is essential.

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
