Position Overview:
Crown Staffing is hiring Chemical Processing Technicians for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Cincinnati, OH. Employees will work in a chemical processing environment, cleaning airplane parts in an automated system. Duties include loading and unloading parts, assisting with inspections, and supporting chemical processing operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Basic Microsoft Word knowledge
- Comfortable working with computers and computerized equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to safely handle chemicals and follow instructions
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company and customer safety standards
- Assist Sr. Technicians and guide apprentice-level personnel
- Study toward and maintain NDT certifications
- Perform NDT inspections when certified and document results
- Complete supervisory tasks as needed
- Perform duties in alignment with company core values
Work Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor plant/shop environment
- Exposure to production machinery and high noise levels
- Required safety equipment must be worn
- May work at multiple job sites in a day
- Exposure to varying climate conditions
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (most lifts assisted)
- Ability to walk, climb ladders, and access elevated platforms
- Work in a refinery/plant environment
- Clear communication skills, strong focus, and multitasking ability
- Sufficient vision, hearing, mobility, and manual dexterity to perform job duties
