Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Tutor to inspire and empower learners of all ages. Tutor must be training to some excellence in Barton Reading and Spelling or Institute for Excellence in Writing. Duties
- Develop customized curriculum plans that align with each student’s unique learning needs and goals
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions across various subjects, including early childhood education, elementary, secondary, or adult education
- Incorporate modern learning technology to enhance understanding and retention of material
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a supportive and disciplined learning environment
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching strategies and providing additional resources
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents or guardians regarding progress, challenges, and next steps
Requirements
- Trained in some level for Barton Reading and Spelling and/or Institute for Excellence in Writing
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom management across different age groups
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and digital educational resources
- Experience working with students of all ages is not required, but is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in an understandable manner
- Demonstrated skills in working with students with diverse learning styles and needs, including special education cases
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple students and lesson schedules efficiently
- Flexible with consistently changing hours throughout the year
