DEPARTMENT : Facilities Maintenance
JOB SUMMARY: The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for Health Systems maintenance and repair; of mechanical systems including, but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire/Life safety systems. Basic facility repairs in, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling (HVAC), etc. Maintain a save environment of all Tulalip Health System buildings and occupants. Maintain open communications with other departments and complete daily work orders (repair and maintenance assignments) in a timely fashion in accordance with policy standards.
COMPENSATION: $21.43hr.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of experience remodeling, with an emphasis on plumbing/electrical systems, taping, and carpentry in a commercial environment.
One (1) year of experience working in facilities.
One (1) year of experience working with confidential information preferred.
One (1) year of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
WA State Driver’s License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation. (Abstract Required)
Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray prior to hire.
CPR/BLS certificate.
Certified in electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC.
EPA 608 certification. *Will allow twelve (12) months to obtain.
Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide immunization records.
HIPAA certification upon hire.
Must complete an Agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing job duties.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
