Job Overview
As the Closing Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery store during evening hours and ensuring a smooth and secure closing process. You’ll lead the closing team, maintain high standards of customer service, complete end-of-day reports, and ensure the store is clean, faced, and ready for the next day’s business. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting team performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support store staff during evening shifts.
- Ensure all closing procedures are followed accurately, including cash handling, securing the store, and final cleaning tasks.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns during closing hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed.
- Conduct final walkthroughs of the store to verify cleanliness, safety, and readiness for the next day.
- Complete daily sales reports and closing paperwork.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store management preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Pay: $17.90 - $18.00 per hour
