Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist, Home Visits $20 to $30 per hour · Full-time, part-time, or per diem · Cedarhurst, NY
Premier Assist brings urgent care to the patient instead of the other way around. You go to the home, do the hands-on clinical work, and a physician assistant joins by video during the same visit to diagnose and prescribe. You are the hands and eyes on site. You are not making clinical calls alone.
The Role:
* Vitals, history, and physical exam support in the patient’s home
* Blood draws, urinalysis, and point-of-care testing
* Hold connected instruments so the PA can examine ear, throat, and chest remotely
* Chart the visit accurately, same day
* Drive between visits in your own vehicle
Requirements:
* Phlebotomy experience and confidence with a hard stick
* Prior clinical experience in a medical office, urgent care, or home care setting
* Solid medical terminology and records handling
* A car and a valid driver’s license
* Someone patients trust in their living room within the first thirty seconds
Nice to have
* Pediatric draws
* EMR experience
