About the Role:
As a CBRE Union Electrician supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in maintaining safe, compliant, and reliable electrical systems in a highly regulated GMP environment. Located within a major hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical innovation, this site supports cutting-edge production and life sciences advancement.
You will inspect, repair, and maintain electrical infrastructure and production support equipment while adhering to strict safety, quality, and documentation standards.
This position operates on a first shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), supporting daily operations, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted production.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing technical support, preventive maintenance, and repair services for facility and production systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance ofelectrical and lighting systems. Perform new installations of equipment.
- Check, repair and/or replace functional components ofelectrical and lighting systems including valves, motors, controls, switches,gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
- Review historical maintenance records to createinspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Conduct performance testing and scheduling maintenance.
- Provide efficient, timely, accurate, and courteous serviceto customers.
- Identify solutions using technical experience to applyappropriate judgment and precedents.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles andtechniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and someknowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. May convince others to reach an agreement.

- Work primarily within standardized procedures andpractices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered.
NJ Journeyman Electrician License
- Meet the physical requirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards tosolve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technicalexperience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union position is $42.13 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
