We are hiring full-time Landscaping & Lawn Care Crew Members for the remainder of the 2026 season!
131 Landscaping is a locally owned and growing landscaping company serving Northeast Ohio. We are looking for reliable, motivated people who take pride in their work and want the opportunity to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow with our company.
This is not just a temporary mowing position. Crew members work across both property maintenance and landscape projects, with opportunities to develop skills in multiple areas of the industry. As our company continues to grow, we want dependable employees who are interested in growing into positions with greater responsibility and leadership.
Season: March through November, with opportunities for snow removal and other winter work
Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 40–50 hours per week
Starting Pay: $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience and ability
Location: Report to Maple Heights, Ohio
Job Responsibilities
Work varies throughout the season and may include:
- Mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, and general property maintenance
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Weeding and landscape bed maintenance
- Shrub and ornamental pruning
- Mulch and landscape material installation
- Planting and removing shrubs and other landscape plants
- Turf renovation, seeding, and lawn repair
- Assisting with landscape installations and small hardscape projects
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- Maintaining clean and organized trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Safely operating professional landscaping equipment after training

Previous landscaping or lawn care experience is welcome, but not required. We provide structured, step-by-step training for motivated employees who are willing to learn.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Perform physical work for extended periods
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other seasonal conditions
- Use basic hand tools
- Learn to safely operate commercial landscaping and lawn care equipment
