**Job Title: Junior Appliance Installer**
**Role Summary:**
An Appliance Installer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery, installation, and setup of household appliances in customers' homes or businesses. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to provide a seamless experience for clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Delivery and Installation:**
- Safely transport appliances to customers' locations using company vehicles.
- Unload appliances and carefully move them to the installation area.
- Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
- Connect and secure electrical, gas, or water supply lines as required for each appliance type.
- Conduct functional tests and quality checks to ensure proper operation.
- Provide demonstrations to customers on how to use and maintain their appliances.
2. **Customer Service:**
- Greet customers professionally and courteously upon arrival.
- Communicate effectively with customers, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a friendly and customer-focused demeanor throughout the installation process.
- Resolve any issues or complications that may arise during the installation, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. **Technical Proficiency:**
- Possess a deep understanding of various household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance models, features, and installation techniques.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with appliances and resolve them efficiently.
4. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, especially when handling heavy or potentially hazardous appliances.
- Maintain knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to appliance installation.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
5. **Documentation:**
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery and installation records, customer signatures, and service reports.
- Report any product defects or damage to the appropriate department for resolution.
6. **Equipment Maintenance:**
- Properly maintain and care for company-owned tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
7. **Teamwork:**

- Assist in training and mentoring junior installers when necessary.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in appliance installation or a related field is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and gas systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy appliances and perform physical tasks.
