Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're looking for a full-time Entry Customer Service Representative to join Team Mavis at our offices in White Plains, NY. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest independently-held tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Position Summary
Customer Service Representative, HQ Services serves as a key support role for the HQ Dependables Team by providing exceptional customer service and operational support to both corporate employees and over 2,000 store locations nationwide. This position is responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls, assisting with point-of-sale transaction support, managing mail services, maintaining office supplies, and supporting administrative tasks including calendar bookings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments and provide accurate information to callers
- Support over 2,000 store locations by assisting with point-of-sale transaction inquiries and general support needs
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and package distribution
- Maintain and organize office supplies and assist with inventory replenishment
- Assist with scheduling and calendar bookings for meetings and office functions
- Provide exceptional customer service to corporate employees, store teams, vendors, and visitors
- Support day-to-day headquarters operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and office administration knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, reception, or call center environments preferred
- Experience supporting retail operations or point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience with Smartsheet is a plus
- UPS shipping and package processing experience is a plus
