Forge Hospitality is seeking a dependable and skilled Cook to support food and beverage operations at our Holiday Inn in Morgantown. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to brand and recipe standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.

Assist with breakfast and/or dinner service as scheduled.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations at all times.

Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory rotation.

Communicate food shortages or quality issues to management.

Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen team members.

Support special events, banquets, or catering as needed.

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred.

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Ability to work in a fastpaced kitchen environment.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Dependable, punctual, and teamoriented.

Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food safety certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
