Liuyishou Hotpot, founded in China in 2000, is a global leader in the hot pot industry, renowned for its unique fusion of traditional Chinese cuisine and modern dining experiences. In 2014, we established our North American headquarters and opened our first restaurant in North America. Since then, we have built a robust operational network, including a central kitchen and large-scale food processing facility, and now proudly operate more than 25 restaurants across North America.
We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and execution-focused Restaurant Operations Assistant to support daily restaurant operations and ensure assigned tasks and company requirements are properly implemented. The ideal candidate works well within established procedures and management direction, communicates clearly, takes ownership of assigned work, and maintains consistent involvement in restaurant operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations;
- Complete tasks assigned by restaurant management and follow established procedures;
- Monitor service, cleanliness, food safety, employee attendance, and daily work completion;
- Assist with employee scheduling, onboarding, training, inventory counts, and operational records;
- Follow up on company notices, inspection items, and operational improvement requirements;
- Execute and follow up on in-store marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and brand initiatives to ensure they are implemented accurately and on schedule;
- Report operational issues and work progress to restaurant management and the management company;
- Support opening, closing, and peak-hour operations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a chain restaurant environment; experience in hot pot or a similar restaurant concept is preferred.
- Strong execution, task follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Reliable, responsible, cooperative, and able to follow established procedures and management direction.
- Good communication and basic problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
