The Cornwall-Lebanon School District is seeking caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated Certified School Nurses (CSNs) to join our substitute team. As a Substitute Certified School Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting student health, supporting academic success, and ensuring a safe learning environment by providing nursing services during the absence of the regular school nurse.

Provide comprehensive school nursing services in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations and district policies.

Assess and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.

Develop and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on student health needs.

Maintain accurate student health records and documentation.

Collaborate with administrators, teachers, parents/guardians, healthcare providers, and other school personnel to support student health and well-being.

Monitor and manage communicable diseases in accordance with state and local health guidelines.

Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive school environment.

Valid Pennsylvania Educational Specialist I or II Certificate – School Nurse.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Current CPR certification.

Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to respond effectively and calmly in emergency situations.

Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
