Job Description
VIREVO LLC is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hospitality operations team at one of our hotel client locations in Washington, DC.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will help oversee daily housekeeping operations, support Room Attendants and Housepersons, monitor productivity and quality standards, and work closely with the Site Manager and hotel management to ensure daily operational needs are successfully completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support housekeeping employees during daily operations.
- Assign and coordinate daily work responsibilities.
- Monitor Room Attendant and Houseperson productivity and performance.
- Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Assist employees with questions, operational issues, and daily assignments.
- Help train and support new employees.
- Monitor attendance and promptly report call-outs, late arrivals, or staffing concerns.
- Communicate staffing and operational issues to the Site Manager.
- Maintain professional communication with hotel supervisors and management.
- Help ensure employees follow hotel procedures, safety requirements, uniform standards, and VIREVO policies.
- Assist with coverage and operational needs during high-occupancy periods.
- Report employee performance or disciplinary concerns to management.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory, inspector, or team-lead experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and room-cleaning standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to organize and supervise multiple employees.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
