In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage home care, scheduling ensuring seamless coverage for clients with caregivers. Your proactive communication and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone involved, fostering trust and reliability in our home care services and with our independent living clients.
Primary Duties
- Develop and maintain efficient schedules for home care providers, aligning caregiver availability with client needs
- Communicate proactively with clients to confirm appointment times, address locations, and provide updates
- Collaborate closely with caregivers to ensure coverage for all assigned shifts and promptly resolve any staffing requests
- Document scheduling changes accurately and update relevant systems in real-time to ensure consistency through use of eRSP scheduling software
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, monthly care log collection and uploading and copying of documents
- Provide meal service assistance to independent living residents
- Provide activity and transportation assistance to independent living residents.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scheduling or coordination roles within healthcare or home care environments preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle stressful situations with poise
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and thorough documentation
- Passion for providing compassionate service and supporting clients’ well-being
- Current or prior CNA or PCA/HHA certification a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
