Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on construction and industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues with hydraulic systems, transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components
- Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, and assembly to repair or modify equipment as needed
- Operate heavy machinery safely during diagnostics or repair procedures to ensure proper functioning post-service
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for each piece of equipment
- Assist customers by providing technical guidance on vehicle maintenance and operation best practices
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repair tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background working with OEM construction or industrial equipment is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabricating, welding, electrical diagnostics, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with excavator, crane, forklift, tractor-trailer operations, HVAC systems, diesel engines, brake repair, alignment services, suspension work, and tire service
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting complex machinery issues
- Experience with automotive diagnostics combined with general vehicle maintenance skills
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various outdoor environments safely
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating heavy equipment is a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
