Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with the check-in process to ensure a comfortable start to their visit
- Conduct patient intake by gathering medical history, current symptoms, and relevant health information accurately
- Assist chiropractors during patient assessments by preparing treatment rooms and handling necessary documentation
- Explain procedures and provide basic guidance on post-treatment care to enhance patient understanding and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and patient records with precision and confidentiality
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing paperwork, and updating patient files as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in patient service or healthcare settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively assist with assessments and understand treatment plans
- Ability to perform patient assessments by collecting accurate information and recognizing basic health indicators
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate support to patients
- Familiarity with intake procedures, appointment scheduling systems, and maintaining detailed records
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
