Job Summary:
The Clinical Support Staff plays a pivotal role in delivering a world-class patient experience at a busy and growing spine practice. The position will be based primarily out of the clinic. This multi-faceted position is responsible for supporting providers during clinic visits and assisting with radiology operations. The role ensures clinical efficiency and supports a seamless patient care journey by coordinating administrative, clinical, and radiology-related tasks. This position requires a motivated, patient-focused individual committed to delivering exceptional care and ensuring an outstanding experience for both patients and providers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, welcoming environment for all patients.
- Monitor clinic flow to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and communicate any delays to patients and staff.
- Pre-Visit planning for all patients, including verifying completion of recent plan of care.
- Perform clinical intake, assist providers during examinations, Assist with clinical tasks such as dressing changes, DME applications, injection preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness and keep clinic organized, re-stock supplies
- Radiology support including image uploading/downloading, rooming, cleaning rooms between patients
- Coordinate patient care beyond the clinic visit by obtaining necessary records.
- Utilize scheduling systems to ensure accurate appointment records and analyze patient flow patterns for improved clinic efficiency.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to help drive our vision and fulfil our mission
Work Environment:
● Clinic setting with integration into the Surgery Center.
● Exposure to communicable diseases in a clinic setting
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
License/Certification:
- Nursing Assistant certification (Preferred)
Required Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 1 year of related experience (Healthcare or radiology support preferred.)
- Profeciency in office equipment use (Phones, headsets, Printers, Fax, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment
- Strong multitasking skills, diplomacy, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications, EHR systems, and radiology software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification (Preferred)
- Customer service experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Billing and insurance experience
- Health information management
- Familiarity with radiology safety protocols
Job Type: Full-time, 32+ hours per week, day shift, typical hours 8am to 430pm with some days requiring earlier start times, no weekends or Holidays
