We are seeking a motivated and skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain small engines (e.g., lawn equipment, generators, other tools)
- Learn and assist in fabricating sheet metal components
- Manage shop operations, including inventory management and organization
- Track and order necessary tools, parts, and materials to maintain efficient workflows
- Deliver materials and equipment to job sites as needed
- Ensure shop equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working order
Qualifications:
- Experience in small engine repair (preferred but not required; training available for the right candidate)
- Willingness to learn sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for shop inventory management
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
