We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to serve as a strategic partner to our leadership team and facilities across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily HR operations and ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
- Advise leaders on workforce planning, employee development, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and best practices to support compliance and engagement.
- Oversee 401(k) administration, employee benefits, and vendor relationships.
- Support OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives across multiple facilities.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and resolve workplace concerns fairly and promptly.
- Partner with leadership on recruitment, retention, and succession planning strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and confidential HR documentation.
- Travel regularly to support training, compliance audits, leadership coaching, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly desired.
- One to three years of HR experience required.
- Experience working in long-term care, nursing homes, or healthcare environments preferred.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
- Proven professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all organizational levels.
- Previous experience in 401(k) administration preferred.
- Willingness to visit facilities within the region.
