The Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for executing and maintaining a consistent, compliant, and high-quality brand presence across all customer-facing channels. This role focuses on social media, mobile app engagement, in-store brand alignment, and creative asset development to support retail and product visibility.
This is an execution-focused role with light strategic input—ensuring brand standards are upheld, and communication channels are active, relevant, and aligned with company objectives.
Core Responsibilities
· Maintain and refine brand standards across all channels (retail, digital, and merchandise)
· Ensure consistent voice, tone, and visual identity
· Review and approve creative assets for alignment and quality
· Own social media calendar, posting, and day-to-day management
· Develop content that is compliant, engaging, and brand-aligned
· Monitor engagement and adjust content based on performance
· Manage mobile app content, promotions, and updates
· Execute push notifications and in-app messaging campaigns
· Coordinate timing and messaging with retail and inventory priorities
· Coordinate design and production of branded merchandise
· Support in-store displays and visual communication materials
· Work with internal teams or external vendors to produce creative assets
· Assist with basic display advertising creative (no heavy media buying)
· Ensure assets meet brand standards and compliance requirements
What This Role Does NOT Own
· Retail promotion strategy or pricing decisions
· Paid media buying or optimization
· CRM/data analytics ownership
· Full-funnel marketing strategy
Qualifications
· 3–6 years experience in brand, communications, or digital content roles
· Strong eye for design, brand consistency, and detail
· Experience managing social media and content calendars
· Familiarity with mobile apps, push notifications, or customer engagement tools
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Cannabis industry experience preferred, but not required
Success Metrics (KPIs)
· Consistency and quality of brand execution across channels
· Social media engagement and growth
· Mobile app engagement (opens, interaction with pushes)
· Timely execution of campaigns and deliverables
· Overall professionalism and alignment of customer-facing materials
Compensation
· Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 DOE
· Bonus: 5% – 10% based on execution, engagement metrics, and team alignment
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
