Job Summary:
We are seeking a polished, service-driven professional to join our team as an In-Room Dining Server & Mini Bar Attendant. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a guest-facing environment, delivering elevated in-room dining experiences while also managing the accuracy, cleanliness, and presentation of our in-room mini bars. The right candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a deep commitment to hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-room dining orders with grace, professionalism, and efficiency
- Set up and present meals in guest rooms according to luxury service standards, including proper tray or table presentation
- Engage with guests in a warm, courteous manner, ensuring satisfaction throughout the experience
- Retrieve trays and service carts promptly to maintain guest privacy and property appearance
- Restock and rotate mini bar items daily across guest accommodations
- Ensure mini bars are clean, organized, and aligned with brand presentation standards
- Accurately record and post charges for consumed mini bar items
- Track inventory, report discrepancies, and assist in ordering/restocking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of IRD pantry, mini bar storage areas, and service equipment
- Report guest feedback, service recovery opportunities, and maintenance issues to leadership promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, room service, housekeeping, or F&B preferred
- Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Trustworthy with strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling guest billing with accuracy
- Ability to lift and transport service trays, carts, and inventory (up to 30 lbs)
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in a Forbes-rated or AAA Five Diamond property
- Food Handler Certification
- Wine knowledge or sommelier interest a plus
