Position Overview: Are you ready to start your career in construction management? We’re seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our Division 9 team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who want to learn and grow in the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of Division 9 interior finish projects.
- Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Track project progress and report updates to the project manager.
- Prepare and organize RFIs, submittals, and other project documents.
- Conduct occasional site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Learn and apply construction management software and tools.
- Attend all job site meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in construction or project coordination.
- Strong interest in Division 9 finishes and commercial interiors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
