Duties / Requirements:
- minimum 1-2 years of line cook experience in Thai cuisine
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for traditional Thai dishes, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Execute cooking techniques with precision, including stir-frying, sautéing, steaming, and grilling to deliver authentic flavors
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Support the culinary team during busy service hours by efficiently prepping ingredients and managing station needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and exceptional service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knife skills with the ability to chop, slice, dice, and julienne ingredients accurately and safely
- Knowledge of Thai cuisine or willingness to learn traditional recipes and techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation practices in a professional kitchen setting
- Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable
- Excellent food handling skills combined with attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
