We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in operating various machining tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining tools to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate components accurately.
- Utilize micrometers and calipers for quality control checks.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining.
- Proficiency in tooling techniques and the operation of milling machines and lathes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
