Join Rapoza Landscape as our Fleet and Facilities Manager and take charge of optimizing our vehicle fleet and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. From scheduling repairs to managing budgets, you'll play a key role in enhancing efficiency and minimizing costs. Your responsibilities will include Vehicle Maintenance and repairs, Asset & Budget management, managing vendor relationships, and implementing strategies for seamless operations. Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs:

Ensure the regular maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles to keep them in optimal condition inside and out.

Maintain and make repairs as needed on small engine equipment.

Schedule routine inspections and coordinate with mechanics or service providers for necessary repairs every week.

Occasional on the jobsite maintenance on heavy equipment ie; shoveling out tracks and greasing all machines.
2. Asset Management:

Maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance history.

Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and overall vehicle performance.
-
Fuel all vehicles as needed at the end of the day.

Ensure all vehicles are organized and lined up for crews in the morning for a smooth rollout.

Ensure trucks are loaded at the end of the day with all materials needed for the next day.
3. Budgeting and Cost Control:

Develop and manage the fleet budget, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and vehicle acquisition.

Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the efficiency and safety of the fleet.

Keep inventory of power equipment and tools.
-
Weekly tool inspections of vehicles to ensure each truck has what It needs.
4. Compliance and Regulations:

Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle safety and emissions.

Ensure that all fleet operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Ensure all vehicles have what is required for DOT.
5. Fleet Optimization:

Analyze data to optimize the size and composition of the fleet for maximum efficiency.

Organize and maintain cleanliness of shop & yard to ensure maximum use of space.

Implement technologies or systems to improve fleet management processes.
6. Relationship Management:

Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.

Manage deliveries and order materials needed to support Account Managers &

Production Managers for their jobsites.

Build and maintain relationships with all vendors, including drivers and management.

Work together with Mechanic and maintain a good working relationship.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
-
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
-
Valid MA Driver's license & DOT card.
-
Willingness to work in inclement weather and on Saturdays.

Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 lbs.
