Must have a clean CDL Driver's License. You MUST have towing experience. If you do not have any experience, please do not apply. Not just a CDL, but CDL towing. We keep getting applicants with no towing expereince.
Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed, heavy wrecker and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport vehicles across various locations.
- Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assist in vehicle recovery or prepare vehicles for transport.
- Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks using manual transmission skills when necessary.
- Perform vehicle recovery towing operations for different types of vehicles, including cars and commercial trucks, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, shift reports, incident documentation, and asset protection records.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for towing operations.
- Proven experience with commercial truck driving and flatbed tow trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions is preferred.
- Physical ability to load/unload vehicles safely and perform manual tasks associated with towing operations.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
