Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
- Operate hand tools and machinery for garden maintenance such as blowers, trimmers, and mowers.
- Assist in building and maintaining hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed.
- Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep driveways and walkways clear.
- Conduct regular inspections of lawns to identify issues such as pests or diseases.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality results.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various lawn care equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for gardening tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic horticultural practices including plant care and maintenance.
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to lawn care and landscaping.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
