Kyoto Sushi is a small business in Downey, CA. We are slow paced, fast-paced on Fridays.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide recommendations to guests
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
