Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a pristine and safe environment across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to ensure floors and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and polished.
- Conduct custodial duties involving heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment with safe lifting practices.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations.
- Assist with industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, including specialized tasks like floor care or residential painting touch-ups.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and the use of appropriate techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with staff and visitors when necessary.
- Familiarity with floor buffers, buffing techniques, and general floor care maintenance.
- Experience with sanitation standards in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols consistently.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
