The Role
As a Agent/Advisor, you’ll work directly with individuals, families, and business owners to help them identify financial needs and implement strategies designed to protect their future. This role offers the opportunity to build a long-term, client-focused practice with support, training, and resources from New York Life.
Job Requirements
- Obtain Life & Health insurance license within 30 days of acceptance (company-paid)
- Obtain FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 registrations within 120 days (company-paid)
- Meet and contact prospective clients to discuss financial concerns and goals
- Conduct information-gathering meetings to assess client needs
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Demonstrated sales, analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Previous sales experience a plus
Athletic and/or coaching background a plus
Compensation Potential (Average Ranges)
- Year 1: $65,000 – $132,000
- Year 3: $109,000 – $205,000
- Year 5: $132,000 – $287,000
- Year 10: $239,000 – $500,000
Compensation is performance and commission based, and reflects the growth of your client relationships and practice over time.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
