Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive talent acquisition efforts to identify, attract, and onboard qualified truck drivers who align with our company’s standards and growth objectives. Your proactive approach will help ensure we maintain a robust driver workforce capable of meeting operational demands.
Duties
- Source and engage potential driver candidates through various channels including social media, job boards, and cold calling.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle using Tenstreet, our applicant tracking system
- Negotiate employment terms and contracts with prospective drivers while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Collaborate with HR teams on onboarding processes, employee orientation, and training programs.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal departments to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize research and talent management tools like Workday, HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft), and social media platforms to generate leads and build a talent pipeline.
Skills
- Proven experience in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, or campus recruitment within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive employment agreements.
- Excellent communication skills for interviewing, relationship management, and presenting opportunities clearly.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure legal compliance during hiring processes.
- Ability to perform research for lead generation and talent sourcing effectively.
- Experience in HR sourcing, employee relations, contracts management, and employee evaluation processes.
- Skills in social media management for recruiting campaigns and brand promotion.
- Competence in using sales techniques such as cold calling to expand candidate pools. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
