Responsibilities

- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain floors and carpets in pristine condition.
- Conduct custodial tasks like window washing, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with light maintenance activities including minor repairs, furniture rearrangement, and painting touch-ups as needed.
- Follow safety procedures for manual handling and heavy lifting to prevent injuries during the movement of furniture or equipment.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and chemical handling safety procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and sanitation procedures.
- Prior experience with industrial cleaning or porter duties is a plus; certifications in chemical handling safety are advantageous.
