Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Full Time Servers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, sharing your culinary knowledge, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help ensure our guests leave satisfied and eager to return.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including food preparation methods and ingredients, especially for fine dining options
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling
- Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing guest payments seamlessly
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving, bussing, and assisting team members
- Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus for managing guest bookings efficiently
- Background in fine dining or upscale food service enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service in a high-end setting
- Knowledge of sales techniques like upselling to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue
