Special Education Teacher – 2026/2027 School Year

Allied OneSource is seeking Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. We have multiple openings available across various grade levels and educational settings, offering opportunities for educators with diverse backgrounds and experience.
As a contracted Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in supporting students with unique learning needs and helping them achieve academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress
- Adapt curriculum, instructional methods, and classroom accommodations to meet individual student needs
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Collect and maintain accurate student data, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification required
- Ability to obtain and maintain all district-required clearances and credentials
- Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to inclusive educational practices and student success
